Using the power of social media, Oodle is reinventing online classifieds. Oodle operates a network of online marketplaces with more than 15 million monthly unique users including the Oodle Marketplace and the Marketplace on Facebook.
Looking at the BloomSearch implementation at Oodle, the scale of the project stands out – 40 million products that are constantly changing. “BloomReach’s BloomSearch can move a lot faster and go further than a manual approach,” Matt Kaufman, Vice President of Product at Oodle, told us.
During the first 60 days of deployment, a significant proportion of BloomSearch-generated visits came to pages that searchers had not found in the three weeks preceding launch. Also, Oodle has seen a substantive increase in visits from natural search since implementing BloomSearch.
